Thank You for The Awesome Experience Second Qurter!!!

Image
During the second quarter, I gained valuable learning experiences that helped me improve both academically and personally. I learned how to manage my time better, more manageable steps, which made them less stressful. I also discovered new strategies for problem-solving, which helped me understand and apply my lessons more effectively. Through these experiences, I gained more confidence in my ability to handle difficult topics and challenges, allowing me to grow and improve. The challenges that I encounter is that I am not fast when it comes to typing words especially our topics is encoding but at time passes by I am slowly getting fast typing words in our computer but even though I am already fast, our computer kept turning off when someone unintentionally touch or move the outlet wherein the computer is plugged in and we need to do it again. It is time consuming especially when we don't finish it by the time our class has end and we need to do it by the other day, that will lead...

The  Climate Change Commission (CCC) commits to integrate migration as a key theme in policy discourse, and to develop migrant-centered policies and programs as more and more Filipinos are forced to migrate due to the climate crisis.   A report from the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Philippines,  Framing the Human Narrative of Migration in the Context of Climate Change: A Preliminary Review of Existing Evidence in the Philippines , identified farmers and fisherfolks, women, older persons, and the urban poor as the most vulnerable to climate impacts due to slow and rapid onset events, physical constraints to move, and low capacities to adapt.   The report particularly sheds light on the state of environmental migration in the Philippines, engaging the cities of Manila, Malabon, Iloilo, and Davao, as well as Samar Province, in the community consultations conducted for this report.   The 2024 National Children’s Month (NCM) celebration in the Philippines, with the theme  “Break the Prevalence, End the Violence: Protecting Children, Creating a Safe Philippines,”  focuses on addressing and combating violence against children. This theme underscores the urgency of ending child abuse, neglect, exploitation, and other forms of harm that children face in society. TOWARDS A MORE RESILIENT PHILIPPINES”

Image
Resilience amidst disaster is heartwarming and brings hope to a world filled with news of war, corruption, poverty, and death. Resilience is hopeful, resilience is a compliment, and resilience mirrors the strength of our nation. And what a strong nation we must be to smile and joyously live and move on from all hardships that plague us. Except this strength is not our nation’s strength, but a strength individually gained and brought about by necessity and darker circumstances.  A lot of Filipinos feel proud of our resilience, but our resilience is a defeatist form of resilience. There is not much contempt for the causes of our suffering, and if not contempt then what we lack is the will for a better life for ourselves and all Filipinos. But is this defeatism our fault? Needless to say, the reasoning behind the infamous resilience of the Filipinos is something that needs to be tackled more.  Of course, not all Filipinos hide behind resilient smiles and bahala na at...
